High doses of value were delivered to IEEE Young Professional Members in Region 6 & 7 on August 4th, 2018 as Vancouver BC section hosted the 2nd annual IEEE PNW YP Leadership Summit.
Born from the initiative of three leading young professionals from IEEE Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver sections, the 2018 IEEE Young Professionals Pacific Northwest Leadership Summit aims to provide a 1-Day event where young professionals assemble to expand borders and foster growth with relevant activities and discussions to: Inspire, Enable, Empower, and Engage. This event was sponsored & supported by IEEE Canada (IEEE R7) as well as Seattle & Oregon sections.
The IEEE PNW Young Professional Summit is slated to rotate annually across Seattle, Vancouver BC, and Portland to continue the mission of organizing events that encourage active networking and engagement among its IEEE PNW YP members. The 2019 PNW YP conference is scheduled to take place in Seattle, WA in July 2019. Coming soon: IEEE Rising Stars is the premier event for both Young Professionals and Students will be held in Las Vegas January 4-6 ahead of CES. Register by November 15.
