The IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology Conference (GHTC) submission deadline for papers, presentations, and special sessions has been extended by two weeks: from April 29 to May 13, 2026. This extension is intended to better accommodate many university finals schedules and to allow authors additional time to prepare high‑quality submissions.
IEEE GHTC highlights efforts in related fields of humanitarian engineering and engineering for sustainable development. This year’s conference will be held at the University of Colorado Boulder, October 7-10, 2026. The theme is “Technologies in Context,” encouraging authors to present technological solutions situated within their social, cultural, economic, and political contexts, as well as research or case studies of context-aware engineering practice and education.
