On January 4, 2016, Lance McBride was presented a Director’s Award for Outstanding Engineer from former Region 6 Director Mike Andrews. As the Region 6 Electronic Communications Chair, this award honors Lance’s efforts to revitalize the Region 6 website, making it the most popular IEEE Regional website, and developing other websites like IEEE Rising Stars and the IEEE Region 6 Career Expo as well as supporting the IEEE Utah Section website.
