The IEEE Rising Stars Conference (https://ieee-risingstars.org) was created seven years ago as an event that engaged young professionals and student members with thought leaders from industry.
The January 2-4, 2021 conference has moved into the cloud and became a global virtual event. The move to a virtual conference is a growth opportunity for the conference and chance to increase the impact on the young professionals and university students we serve.
In one of those BFO* moments last week, as I looked at the speaker list, I thought that expanding the invitation to ALL MEMBERS made excellent sense and member opportunity.
Some of the speakers on the program for Rising Stars 2021 include Vint Cerf, Chief Evangelist, Google; Diogo Mónica, President and co-Founder, Anchorage Corporation; Lila Tretikov, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft, XR/AI; Stephen Ibaraki, Chairman and Managing General Partner, Redds Capital; Sonita Lontoh, VP, HP; Whurley, co-Founder and President of Strangeworks; Mark Schneider, Global Technical Director, Bentley Systems; Roman Vaculin, IBM, AI & Blockchain Applications, Senior Manager, IoT, AI; Brian David Johnson, Technology Futurist; Eric Krotov, Chief Scientist, Toyota Research Institute; Barbara Porter, CTO, FragranceNet; Kent Dicks, President of Life 365; Vivian Kelly, CEO, Interprose, and Ziyue Xu, Senior Scientist, NVIDIA.
Rising Stars will focus on global opportunities, cutting-edge technology, professional development, and emerging markets. Our goal is to inspire attendees by inviting industry leaders and facilitate networking with peers and mentors alike. Our speakers, panelists and sponsors are always fantastic!
The 2021 Rising Stars Conference – Global also provides your company an opportunity to access the top engineering talent from around the world. Click here to download the 2021 IEEE Rising Stars Global Sponsorship Brochure.
