IEEE Day 2018

IEEE Day is October 2 – Plan Your Way onto the Map Today!

While the world benefits from what’s new, IEEE focuses on what’s next. IEEE Day celebrates the first time in history when engineers worldwide and IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884 and is themed: “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow”. IEEE Day 2018 will be celebrated on October 2, 2018. IEEE members in local communities join together to collaborate on ideas for this celebration.

IEEE Region 6 Ambassador Karan Kantharia of ASU reports his branch is going to be celebrating with talks and workshops for all the students given by companies in the Phoenix region in a project supported by the Phoenix section. What is happening near you? Let us know by adding it to the map and please enter the photo and video contests. Go to www.ieeeday.org today.
