To engage industry and academic communities with high value and innovative technologies, IEEE Communication Society has recently developed a strategic framework and is holding a series of high impact one day Summits in emerging technology areas (e.g., SDN/NFV, 5G, IoT, Big Data, and Cybersecurity).
After a successful 1st edition of IEEE 5G Summit held at Princeton University in May 2015 with more than 300 attendees, the next edition of IEEE 5G Summit will be held at Google HQ, Mountain View, CA on Monday, November 16, 2015.
This one day Summit will provide a platform for the industry leaders, innovators, and researchers from the industry and academic community to collaborate and exchange ideas in this emerging technology that may help in driving the standards and rapid deployment.
IEEE 5G Silicon Valley Summit’s speakers include key industry leaders and eminent personalities from Google, AT&T, Stanford University, Samsung Research, TU Dresden, Intel, Qualcomm, Ericsson, Cisco, Keysight, Altera, StraightPath Communications, Huawei.

Advance registration is now open for the IEEE 5G Silicon Valley Summit through 11:59 pm EST on Saturday, October 31, 2015. After that, regular registration fees are in effect. The advance fee is $50 (IEEE members) / $75 (non-IEEE members). The regular fee is $75 (IEEE members) / $100 (non-IEEE members). Registration fee for the full-time students is $25. Registration for IEEE Life members is $30. Sponsors can also sign up through registration link on the summit’s website.
