The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Scholarship Plus Initiative is now accepting applications from undergraduate students in the US and Canada. Over the last two years, over US$642,000 has been distributed to 265 students from over 100 schools. The goal is to receive 700 applications and distribute 400 scholarships in 2013. The deadline to submit an application is 30 June 2013.
Scholarship recipients will receive the following amounts (assuming application when a first year student) and continued qualification:
- US$2,000 for each of the first two years
- US$3,000 for third year (total of $7,000)
