Introduction to RF Safety Testing

We are pleased to have Mr. Gabe Alcala of ATEC here to speak about the basics of RF Safety Testing. “Introduction to RF Safety Testing” will cover radio frequency (RF) health and safety concerns, as well as appropriate testing procedure.

- Different types of equipment & methods used for making measurements
Mr. Gabe Alcala is well versed in international test and compliance standards. He has worked in the test equipment industry for over 11 years. As Quality Manager at Advanced Test Equipment Rentals, Alcala ensures the quality of products, calibration, and experience for customers. He is also a participant in San Diego’s vibrant science, mathematics, technology, and engineering (STEM) community. Alcala was the past IEEE San Diego section Chair and has been an instrumental part of their mission to foster technological innovation and excellence in San Diego.
