If a Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group meets all of the Requirements listed for an Outstanding Chapter <inset link>, then it may be given an award for Outstanding Contribution to Promoting Women in Engineering.
If one, two or three different individuals did exemplary work to promote women in engineering, then those individuals may be given awards. Up to three awards to individuals per year may be given if there are worthy nominations.
Remember that all nominations of individuals must include at least two additional people who write recommendations. All must be IEEE members and be in the same Section as the nominee. If the voting awards committee decides that all of the nominations are not up to the standard of this award, then no award of this category will be given this year.
