IEEE-USA has announced the selection of Portland Oregon as the site for their 2013 Annual Meeting and Technical Conference. The Oregon Section submitted the winning proposal. The meeting will be August 1-3, 2013 at the Doubletree by Hilton.
The Technical Conference will be held August 1-2 (Thursday-Friday), and its theme is “Technologies for Sustainability”.
The Conference will feature Discussion Panels and three parallel tracks (subject to change): Energy, Vehicles, and Electronics/Materials.
Look for the Call-for-Papers. Qualifying papers will be published in IEEE Xplore.

The Annual Meeting will begin Friday afternoon and run until Sunday morning. Check the IEEE-USA web site for announcements and updates.
Registration includes admission to the Technical Conference, the Annual Meeting sessions, and 2013 IEEE-USA Awards Banquet.
Both events will feature Keynote speakers and approx. 5,000 Sq. Foot Exhibit area.
There will be a Companion Program for family members.
